Time spent completing a missing document, or waiting on another government body, is not counted in the 90 days. Approval is always the Center's decision.

Read on pr.gov.sa on 19 October 2026. The Center can change its conditions and fees at any time.

How much does Saudi Premium Residency cost?

The government fee depends on the product: SAR 100,000 a year for Limited Duration, SAR 800,000 once for Unlimited Duration, and SAR 4,000 once for Special Talent, Gifted, Investor, Entrepreneur and Real Estate Owner. Mohla's own fee is in the written quote you receive before any work starts.

How long does a Premium Residency application take?

The Premium Residency Center states 90 business days to process an application, and 15 working days to grant the residency once the fee is paid. Time spent on a missing document or on another government body is extra.

When do I pay the government fee?

After approval, not when you apply. You have 30 days from the approval notice to pay, or the application is cancelled.

Can my family live with me on Premium Residency?

Yes. The Center lists your spouse, children under 25 and parents, with no expat fees for them, and family members may work in the private sector.

Can a Premium Residency holder own a company in Saudi Arabia?

Yes. Holders can do business under the Investment Law. Mohla sets up a holder's company from name reservation to the Balady licence, as its own route.

Which Premium Residency leads to permanent residency?

Unlimited Duration and Investor are permanent. Special Talent and Gifted can become permanent after 30 months of residence within five years, and Entrepreneur in its second category is permanent directly.

No. Approval is the Premium Residency Center's decision. Mohla starts with an honest eligibility review, prepares and verifies your file, and follows it to a decision.
